CBC Curio

Curio.ca offers:

  • Resources for all subject areas and all ages
  • Closed Captioning
  • Options to embed and share content
  • Ability to create multiple playlists
  • New titles added every week
  • Curio.ca films can be shown in the classroom

Searching

Search Curio.ca 3 ways

  1. Search by keyword using the Search Box in the top right corner.
  2. Use the Main Menu, and filter by:
    • Categories
    • Shows
    • Collections
    • Channels
  1. Filter by Subject area using the tabs on the left.

Not finding a program that you watched before or have a broken link?

  • Ask for programs to be added using CBC Curio.ca's request form
  • Most CBC created programming is available in perpetuity, however some content is removed after 5 years. Programs created by non-CBC production companies are often only available for a period of time.

 

My Curio Account

Create a My Curio Account:

  • Select Login in the upper right corner.
  • Input your NSCC email address and select Continue.
  • An verification code will be sent to you by email.
  • Enter the verification code and select Continue
  • Your account with have to be re-established using the same process every 90 days. 

You do not need a My Curio account to view and use content on Curio.ca when you are on campus (or off campus following remote access steps).

You do need a My Curio account if you want to create personal play lists. The My Curio menu allows you to update your profile and access your playlists.
