Academic Supports at NSCC

  • Writing Centre Guide:  provides tips, advice and information on how to get started, writing a resume or report, using grammar and punctuation, and more.  
  • Writing Centre Appointments (login required): All NSCC students have access to free, one-to-one writing support. Current NSCC students can schedule an online Writing Centre appointment which are 30 minutes in length. Visit the NSCC Writing Centre Connect Page for booking information.

College 101: Study, Strategize, and Succeed 3 Ed. will help you build a foundation for your college studies by learning how to learn. By using this resource and working through the exercises included, you are investing in the skills that will support you in your classes and future learning. Content includes goal setting, finding college supports, managing your time, note-taking, test-taking, study skills, tips for completing assignments and much more.
