The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global blueprint for achieving a more just, equitable, and sustainable future. Adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, the goals address a wide range of interconnected challenges from poverty and inequality to climate change and responsible consumption. Each goal aligns with one or more of the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and economic.
Each SDG is supported by specific targets and measurable indicators, guiding progress toward 2030. Each year, the United Nations publishes a comprehensive progress report tracking global efforts and identifying areas for improvement.
