Sustainable Development Goals at NSCC: Welcome

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Sustainable Development GOals. O is a colour wheel

In 2015 the UN launched its 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development intended to serve as a blueprint for countries to reach peace and prosperity. The agenda has been adopted by all 193 UN Member States. At the heart of the Agenda are the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of 17 goals which aim to address some of the most pressing issues of our time between 2015 and 2030.

The SDGs must be achieved in order to have global sustainability and prosperity. The goals address some of the world’s wicked problems such as climate change and poverty, to create societies that are just, safe, and environmentally responsible.
